Descripción

A debt negotiator is responsible for negotiating and settling debts or overdue payments with creditors, legal firms, law firms, cooperatives, and legal representatives, such as banks.

This role is based on the specific policies of each creditor to reach agreements that alleviate the client's outstanding balance. The process involves speaking with the creditor, obtaining and sending an authorized notarial power to access information, and following due process in each negotiation until a mutual agreement is reached that allows the client to settle their debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the client portfolio with the creditors to verify balances, statements, and the validity of the notarial powers.
  • Conduct periodic follow-ups and contact creditors to continue the negotiation process.
  • Monitor the status of the notarial powers, ensuring their approval to proceed with the negotiation.
  • Negotiate with creditors professionally and following established protocols, with the aim of reaching agreements that benefit the client.
  • Monitor waiting times and manage deadlines efficiently during the negotiation process.
  • Prepare the necessary documentation to formalize the agreements reached, including agreement letters signed by the creditor.

This is an on-site position in Tegucigalpa, working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. The clients we serve are based in the USA.
