Business Development Specialist 

The Business Development Specialist contributes to the pursuit and acquisition of funding from U.S. Government and international donors. This role serves as the primary proposal writer responsible for coordinating all aspects of the proposal process, developing compelling content, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with donor requirements and Compassion's strategic objectives. The incumbent demonstrates growing expertise in grant acquisition and works with moderate supervision while managing assigned components of proposals.

 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Administration, or related fields.

• 2+ years of relevant experience working in this or a related field.

• Monitoring and evaluation skills.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a clear and assertive manner.
• Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Computer skills, especially use of Microsoft Office and platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
• Advanced level of speaking, writing, and reading English required

This is a contract position lasting 12 months.
