SECTION 2
Organizational Context and Scope
| Under the overall supervision of the CVAC Team Leader, the Client Service Assistant Intern will provide support in daily VAC operations, assist in client services, and undertake other duties as required within the scope of the office. |
SECTION 3
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Provide excellent customer service to applicants as part of the contractual requirements by complying with the IRCC Statement of Work and its respective service standards.
2. Support the delivery of information to clients due to the importance of providing the most accurate and up-to-date information possible, informing clients of any changes in visa requirements or application procedures.
3. Capture applicant data accurately and maintain a high level of expertise when using the software platform provided for CANVAC.
4. Immediately inform management of any issues related to their daily work so that they can promptly address any necessary issues and regularly provide suggestions on how to improve service effectiveness.
5. Positively accept constructive feedback for the sake of thorough understanding of the processes, following established instructions, procedures, and policies.
6. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports in compliance with established policies following the guidelines provided by IRCC, GVA, and VFS.

Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
- High school graduate.
- College or university degree will be considered an advantage.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in customer service and immigration processes
SKILLS
- Good knowledge of standard office information technology tools and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy when performing duties;
- Excellent computer skills, specifically with MS Office.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Ability to multitask.

Required Documentation for the Application
Applicants must be ready to submit the following documents upon request:
- Curriculum Vitae: An up-to-date CV in English.
- Identification Documents: Copies of a valid national ID, birth certificate, and passport.
- Residence Verification:
Applicants must provide proof of their current residence. This may include a copy of a utility bill (water, electricity, internet, or other) in their name, accompanied by an English translation. If the utility bill is not in the applicant’s name, alternative documentation confirming the address must be submitted, such as rental agreements or a notarized residency confirmation letter, with the corresponding English translation. Additionally, applicants must provide two photographs of the exterior of their current residence. If the applicant has not lived at the same address during the past five years, evidence of all previous addresses must also be provided.
- Educational Qualifications: University degree or other qualifications obtained in the last five years, with the corresponding English translation.
- Employment History: Certificates of employment for the last five years, including volunteer work and internships, with the corresponding English translation.
- Criminal Records: Current police record and criminal background certificate, with the corresponding English translation. If the applicant has lived for more than six months in other cities or countries during the last five years, criminal records from those locations must also be submitted.
- Financial Verification: Applicants must provide a bank statement confirming that they hold an account and indicating the account opening date, with the corresponding English translation. Additionally, a credit record must be submitted, with its corresponding English translation, to verify the applicant’s financial standing.
- Health Insurance: Proof of health insurance coverage, which may be private or social security-based, is required at the time of initiating the hiring process.
