The NSD and Membership Services Coordinator for the Central America Delegation supports National Societies (NS) in achieving NSD Framework goals aligned with the IFRC 2030 strategy. He/she offers tailored strategic advice and coordination to enhance NS ‘operational effectiveness and capacity. As part of the Membership Services team, he/she facilitates learning processes, supports organizational development, and manages the NSD portfolio. Collaborating with other cluster units, he/she will advance the NSD agenda and manage associated risks. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support to enhance NSD initiatives and maintaining productive relationships with National Societies' senior management. The focus is on updating operational methods, addressing internal challenges related to organizational development, and ensuring relevant, accountable, and sustainable support to National Societies. This includes establishing legal, ethical, and financial foundations and implementing effective planning and execution systems. In addition, he/she works closely with the Head of the Country Cluster and deputize as needed.
