  1. Procurement Agent

The Procurement Agent is responsible for the procurement and/or acquisitions for services, supplies, construction, equipment, and non-expendable property through competitive contracts, purchase orders, or the applicable contracting mechanism. In the performance of these duties, the Procurement Agent has a good knowledge and understanding of USAID’s policies, regulations, and procedures in order to properly advise mission staff on the appropriate contracting mechanism. This position is located in the Executive Office (EXO) directly supervised by the Senior Procurement Agent.

    2.   USAID Project Management Specialist (Private Sector, Energy, Finance and Trade)

          SOL No. 72052224R10010

 

The USAID Project Management Specialist (Private Sector/Energy/Finance/Trade) position is located within the USAID/Honduras Economic Growth Office (EG). The incumbent, in collaboration with the USAID Project Management Specialist (Food Security & Energy) and the USAID Project Management Specialist (Private Sector & Energy), provides technical guidance, strategic programming advice, and direct management of USAID private sector engagement and alliance building, access to finance across technical sectors, and energy sector reform, all of which are of high diplomatic importance to the Governments of the United States and Honduras. Responsibilities include supporting engagement with Government of Honduras (GOH) and international donor community officials. The incumbent supports the development, management, and evaluation of complex programs, including overall design, management and monitoring of the technical aspects of the activity.

 

The incumbent is responsible for the achievement of results established for catalyzing private sector investment, facilitating greater inclusive access to finance, improving cross-border trade, and the provision of technical assistance to key actors in the energy sector, as presented in relevant USAID approved strategic and procurement documents.
