Do you believe that literacy is a critical tool for empowering youth? If so, this is the opportunity for you! You can be part of a rapidly growing organization that partners with Honduran schools to open children’s libraries throughout the country. We’re calling on anyone and everyone with a passion for reading, libraries, and working with children.

Organization Description
Chispa Project is 501(c)(3), a not-for-profit organization based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Our mission is to spark a culture of reading through student access to books in Honduras. To date, we’ve donated over 70,000 books to 90+ different schools across the country. Chispa Project works with Honduran educational institutions to spark a passion for learning that will grow and be nurtured within the local communities, with a vision to enhance the quality of life in Honduras.
